Private Trauma-Sensitive Yoga Session
I draw on my personal experience with grief, trauma, and healing, as well as rely on my professional training as a trauma-sensitive yoga facilitator (TCTSY-F) to walk along you on the path of healing.
Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga (or TCTSY) is an empirically validated, clinical intervention for complex trauma or chronic, treatment resistant post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Clients who seek trauma-sensitive yoga sessions usually are dealing with:
- PTSD
- complex trauma
- grief and loss
Private sessions are a way to receive the highest level of support and guidance on your journey.
If you are interested in working together, first we schedule a free Discovery session. Then, if we decide to work together, we come up with a mutually agreed upon plan and we get to work! Usually, 8-10 sessions are enough to create sustainable change. “Yoga therapy for me has reinforced again to listen more to what my body, mind, soul needs in the moment. The breathing technique for cooling I find particularly helpful when a hot flush arrives. I’m still adjusting to so many things since my diagnosis/surgery. Through chatting with you, so many things are beginning to fall into place. Revisiting boundaries with you, again is reinforcing how much I need to work on putting them in place. When I listen to some of your examples, I think why didn’t I think of that? It makes perfect sense, yet it’s not even on my radar most of the time. The moving of energy in our practice I really enjoy, and the recordings are particularly helpful especially to be able to access them before bed. Thank you again, I’m so glad our paths have crossed.”
